The hearing of an Accountability case against Sindh Minister Agha Siraj Durrani was adjourned till January 22 by an Accountability Court at Karachi as Prosecution Witness (PW) was called absent. Imam Bux Soomro, PW was summoned by the court for recording of his statement. Instead his son appeared before the court and informed that his father is terminally ill since previous two years. He could not move or talk due to stroke of epilepsy, the court was informed.

The Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) appearing for the State stated that on next date of hearing Prosecution would come with a decision to give up the witness or other wise. The bench after this statement put off hearing till January 22. Agha Siraj Durrani was present during the hearing with his counsel Khawaja Naveed Ahmed. He was accused of corruption to the tune of rupees 5.5. million spent for purchase of furniture for Swedish Institute of Technology as then Minister for Education.
